HHPAY S2E10: Super Zero, Artist Ami & Ikkakujuu

Alright, is anyone up for a silly superhero? Up for masterpieces? Up for an ikkakujuu? Well.

67. Super Zero!

Ami and Yumi are visited by an old friend named Atchan who thinks he's a superhero. Can Atchan help Yumi when she, Ami and Kaz are kidnapped by the giant snake monster Sunikura?

Ami said Atchan, not "Atchoo!"

The girls looked so adawable as kids!

Yep, the first episode to star Atchan.

He really is weird.

Even as an adult, Atchan is weird.

Yep, the only appearance of the evil snake, Sunekura!

Atchan saved the girls and Kaz, all by making the reptile laugh!

Atchan is such a silly hero.

Well, for the first episode to star Atchan, this was hilarious, but his "Superpowers" are just silly. And might I say, he sounds like the 1st grade president of Gallagher Elementary School. Also, he always calls Yumi "The Purple-haired one". Her hair looks blue to me. But all in all, a funny episode this.

My rating: 9.5/10.

68. Artist Ami.
Written by: Ford Riley.
Aired: 4 November 2005.
Ami's bad attempt at an album cover is discovered by an art critic who suggests to Ami that she should become an artist.

I must say, this painting of Kaz looks like a masterpiece!

Kaz painting is up for bid!

Yumi has a painting studio now!

Look! There's Bunny Huggles in this sculpture.

Ami sure has her own ways of painting.

Mess-terpieces!

Kaz really loves his money!

A grand episode as usual. We see Ami as an artist, and might I say, she did wonders on painting Kaz. I don't understand why Kaz thought Ami's paintings were "Mess-terpieces". Love that quote!

My rating: 10/10.

69. Ikkakujuu.
Written by: Adam Beechen.
Aired: 4 November 2005.

After breaking Yumi's new guitar, Ami tries to convince Yumi and Kaz that she saw a unicorn.

Ami's done a jigsaw puzzle!

Ooh, that's dark! Ami wanting Yumi under a guillotine.

Awesome guitar!

What is it with Kaz and money?

Ami is rocking it out!

 Oh, Ami! You're in trouble!

Throwing innocence in the bin!

Ami's a screw ball and a crackpot!

Angry Tekirai!

Not a muscly man!

So both Ami and Yumi were right! It was a muscly man and a unicorn!

Wow! For an episode without dialogue, this one was very interesting. We got to see thinking bubbles with pictures to tell the story, and we even got to see a little unicorn-like err.....goat? Calf? Foal? Oh well, it was all-in-all interesting. And for those of you who don't understand, Ikkakujuu is Japanese for "Unicorn".

My rating: 9.5/10.

Final thoughts:

Another grand episode! We got to see Atchan for the first time, and for some reason, always uses illeism, Ami being an artist, and even a.....unicorn. Either way, another wondrous episode!

Episode rating: 9.5/10.
