56. The Battle for Rock Mountain.

Tim pens an original comic book for the school's upcoming time capsule ceremony that pits Weatherman against Captain Rock Man. But who will win?

This is what Carlos calls a Gecko Call. And he's right to call it that.

As it turns out, these kids are going to be burying their valuables in a time capsule. 

Time to welcome back Ralphie's superhero Weatherman. 

Meet Arnold's new superhero, Capt'n Rockman! 

Tim wants to bury a new comic book about Weatherman, but he can't find ideas. 

Here comes Elastifriz. She's going to take these kids on a field trip. 

Tim's notepad is just as magical as both Frizzes. He can colour pictures rapidly. 

They're in Iceland, a country full of mountains. 

This rock was very craggy in 1937. 

Ralphie and Arnold have inspired Tim to write a comic book about Weatherman versus Capt'n Rockman. 

The comic includes Carlos as Boy H2O. 

I guess Keesha isn't impressed with Tim's development. 

With what Weatherman and Boy H2O did, Capt'n Rockman is eroding! 

 

Come on! Ride on The Magic School Rock! Reminds me of Rocks and Rolls when it turned into a rock. 

But this time, it crumbled to separate the class into a clast. 

According to Dorothy Ann's reesearch, clast is little eroded rock pieces in the ground. 

"Gee, Weatherman! You're always in such a hurry-cane!"
"Boy H2O!"

Boy H2O really is Carlos. 

Now Rockman is Capt'n Sedimentary Rock!

These girls do want girl power in Tim's comic. 

 Dorothy Ann has demonstrated tectonic plates cook the rock, squeezing the rock. 

These superheroines are the Tectonic Duo, simply Dorothy Ann and Wanda. 

Let's not forget the Scarlet Scorch, champion of extreme heat! Simply Keesha.

The 3 girls win! 

Now Rockman is Capt'n Metamorphic Rock!

They're going to raft a river of lava, on The Magic School Bus, such a fine thing to do! 

 Mighty Inferno! Simply Jyoti.

But Mighty Inferno wasn't enough to defeat Capt'n Rockman. He's now  Capt'n Igneous Rockman!

But this story will go on forever. Because that's how the rock cycle goes. 

Say hello to Super Friz, and her trusty sidekick Goldie.

We've once again been introduced to Weatherman. If I remember correctly, that's Ralphie's alter-ego. Takes me back to Kicks Up a Storm when he played god.

And Arnold's superhero, Capt'n Rockman was a sight to see, considering how much Arnold likes rocks.

I think the story would've been funnier if, instead of the Scarlet Scorch, Keesha was either Weatherwoman or the Queen of England. I mean, if Ralphie's Weatherman, Keesha's the Queen of England.

This episode holds a major reference to all kinds of superheroes. Especially those DC superheroes, the Marvel heroes, and The Incredibles.

As they were heading out to their field trip, Fiona called the class her "5th Grade Superheroes", showing that this series is 5th Grade.

This episode was very epic. Tying in with the fact that kids are into superheroes, especially considering Weatherman, Capt'n Rockman, Boy H2O, the Tectonic Duo, Scarlet Scorch, and Mighty Inferno. Having Weatherman, Arnold's love of rocks, Tim's artistic skills, and Keesha's disapproval moment further sums up why I call this series "Season 5 onward" instead of "Rides Again".

My rating: 10/10.
