Robotboy S1E13: Crying Time & Runaway Robot + Season 1 overall

Alright, I am ready to do a review on Robotboy's first season finale. How did this season end? Let's find out!

25. Crying Time.

Aired: UK: 17 November 2005. US: 1 April 2006.

When Tommy cries in his home after being bullied by Bambi, Robotboy learns what crying is, and Kamikazi found a way to get Robotboy by making him cry and drain his hydraulic fluid to take advantage of him to take over the world.

Alright! Here's the reason I hate Bambi!

Mocchio? Sounds like Pinocchio.

Bummer!

Evil Laubotboy!

Looks like Mocchio is history!

This sure was one 'eck of an episode! We get to find out that Robotboy leaks out oil whenever crying, and a parody of Pinocchio. It was funny when Gus ate Mocchio at the end, however, at the beginning, Bambi was such a bitch to Thomas Turnbull, making him cry like that!

My rating: 8.5/10.

26. Runaway Robot.

Aired: UK: 17 November 2005. US: 1 April 2006.

Robotboy sees an advert with Bjorn Bjornson saying he could turn him into a real boy. This is a trick, and Bjorn Bjornson reprogrammes him into being under his command. Eventually Tommy and co get him to snap out of it, and Bjorn Bjornson is defeated.

Here we are, the first appearance of Bjorn's mum. Might I say, she bears a coincidental resemblance to Princess Leia from Star Wars.

Robotboy hate maintenance?

This ep proves how dumb Tommy's dad can be!

Hold it! Did Bjorn say "Jackass"? On a kids' show?

Robot Laser! Look out!

Oh, Bjorn's in for a spanking! For not eating his herring!

 I must say, this episode sure was hilarious! Bjorn revealing his plan to destroy both Moshimo and Robotboy! Super wicked and hilarious, especially with Dwight and Bjorn's mum! Hmm...I wonder where Bjorn's dad is? But oh well! This Bjorn episode is the best!

My rating: 10/10.

Final thoughts:

So did Season 1 end on the right note? Without a doubt, yes! Some crying time with Robotboy and Tommy, and it's all thanks to that bimbo Bambi! But this was all made up for with Bjorn tricking Robotboy, and not to mention saying "Jackass" on a kids' show. Oh well, a mighty fine way to put Season 1 to rest!

Season 1 final thoughts:

I must say, this season was an overall great way to start a great European Co-produced Cartoon Network show! Interesting characters, even if not all of them were brilliant, funny antics from the stupid character, but let's not forget the occasional duds I Want That Toy and Robot Love was just average. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Will I stay positive with my reviews? Join me next time for Season 2!
