TTTE S21E09: New Crane on the Dock

Now I'm going to review the episode that focuses on the character who was introduced in the previous episode. And this episode is...

503. New Crane on the Dock.

Carly the new crane is so keen that she takes on all the work. After Cranky finds himself with nothing to do, he works harder and faster in a bid to keep up with her. But as the two cranes frantically try to outdo one another, their hooks become entangled and they find themselves stuck fast and unable to move...

That's right. We get focus on the character who was introduced in Cranky at the End of the Line. This character is named Carly, and she's an interesting character. And might I say, her face kind of reminds me of Mavis' model face only with eyelashes. Her dynamic with Cranky was quite funny I have to say.

Also, there was a tale Salty told about sea monsters, and one was named Mildred. Funny thing about that is that Carly's name was originally going to be "Mildred", but it was considered too old fashioned for a modern crane like Carly.

And we got a surprise in this episode and that is.....

That's right! Big Mickey, from Thomas' sister show TUGS, has a face now! And he sure has a booming Geordie accent now!

So overall, this episode was....very nice!
