Robotboy S3E01: 6 Million Euro Man & Robogus and the G-Machine

Now that I'm done with the first series of Robotboy, it's time for me to get onto its 2nd series, in this case, I'm going to be reviewing Season 3 for all you Brobotboys. And as I go through this season, I'm going to see for myself if it started well and if it fairs any better than the first 2 seasons.

The differences between Series 1 and 2 are the slight changes in the character designs and animation, and the number of writers that had written each episode. So without further ado, let me start this review!

53. 6 Million Euro Man.

Klaus Von Affenkugel becomes mad at Moshimo for not helping him with his problem and when he leaves he finds out about Robotboy and decides to get him to make him stronger.

Oh, Moshimo's lab is melting!

And here we are. An episode that introduces the wimpy Klaus Von Affenkugel and his giant ape Ludwig.

What a hilarious, sweet and depressing backstory for Klaus.

Miumiu in action!

Hmm...Ludwig figured that fish had Ludwig in it!

Klaus owns an extravagant castle!

Ha! Klaus is too weak to lift Robotboy's arm and leg!

 Klaus is treated like a baby!

What can I say? This sure was an interesting episode! This one introduces the evil yet tragic yet incredibly wimpy Klaus Von Affenkugel. Evil because he wants Robotboy's parts, tragic and wimpy because of his depressing backstory explaining why he's evil, and also his lumbering, nurturing ape Ludwig, and might I say, he sounds like Doctor Kamikazi's son. Silly of Gus to eat Klaus' card, but clever of Lola to take it out of his mouth and read Klaus' location! And also, Klaus' theme is a remix of Beethoven Symphony Number Five as well as Ludwig's name being a reference to Beethoven's first name. An interesting and sad start to Season 3.

My rating: 9.5/10.

54. Robogus and the G-Machine.

When Tommy prepares an all new upgrade for Robotboy, Gus suddenly drops his breakfast into Robotboy's head and while trying to get it out he reaches his tongue inside and gets electrified which leads to him and Robotboy gets their minds switched to each others bodies; Robotboy in Gus's body and Gus in Robotboy's body.

Gus keeps a hot dog?

Moshimo and Miumiu can play lawn bowls in space. 

 

Gus like strawberry pancake?

 

A moment when Bambi did make me laugh!

 

Gus' new friends! Have a look and you can see Professor Moshimo, and another kid looks like Billy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

Bully been bullied!

Ha! Mookie was framed for biting an Uncle Grandpa-inspiring idiot! 

 

Gus is friends with a rhino and a pachyderm too?

 

I must say, this episode was ultra hilarious! And not to mention, when Robotboy in Gus' body went up to Bambi, her reaction "Ewww!" actually made me laugh! And I must say, Moshimo really had Hiro's "Henry's Hero" voice here. And not to mention a Billy-like kid seeing Robogus saving a girl from slipping! Good that that all changed back to normal at the end or else Robotboy would've been stupid the whole time!

My rating: 10/10.

Final thoughts:

This was a very interesting start to Series 2 as well as Season 3! I must say, the animation improved too and references galore! Klaus and Ludwig were introduced as well as Klaus' Beethoven theme being a nice touch. Gus and Robotboy switch bodies, making a ridiculous yet hilarious twist! A very brilliant way to start Season 3!
