TTTE S21E12: The Fastest Red Engine on Sodor

Here we go, an episode to properly introduce a certain tank engine in her current paintwork. Even if she isn't properly developed here.

506. The Fastest Red Engine on Sodor.

When Rosie is painted red, she is challenged to a race by fellow red engine, James. A screeching sound leads Rosie to suggest that James should get his brakes checked, but he is too proud to do that, which leads to trouble. James crashes through back of the Tidmouth Sheds, causing him to be damaged.

Here we go. The episode that properly introduces Rosie the Tank Engine in her current red livery. It was excellent of James the Red Engine to remember that Rosie used to be a mauvy-lilac colour. She's not that anymore.

At first, I wasn't too sure about Rosie being red now, but now, I see it as potential. And interesting enough, she's got the North Western Railway initials on her tank panels and the Numbuh Thirty-Seven painted under her cab.

And the runaway James was on gave me Old Iron vibes, but only that one was because some youths messed around with his controls, but here, it was because of his brake fluid being gone.

Also, James' accident gave me some Old Stuck-Up vibes, only that story had a haughty diesel crash through the back of the shed.

So this episode overall was a nice build up to the next episode.
