For anyone out there who doesn't know, Codename Kids Next Door was a Cartoon Network series that ran from December 2002 to January 2008. The series focuses on a massive group of kids, fighting evil adults, all because they don't want to do unpleasant things, whether it be eating vegetables, doing household chores, homework, etc.
The series originally premiered on 20 July 2001 as a pilot episode, which won in a poll to be made into a full series.

Kids Next Door!
Alright. I'm ready to start my reviews on this series all over again from scratch. With the official series premiere, an episode for a planned-but-scrapped series, and the pilot mission. Review Jungle, BATTLE STATIONS!
1. Operation: CAKED.
Capturise And Kidnapify Enemy Dessert.

The Delightful Children From Down The Lane are holding their birthday party and are not sharing their cake with any of the other kids, forcing their guests to sing the birthday song (again), as they eat it. Suddenly, the Kids Next Door violently burst into the house with stink bombs that scare away the guests. Nigel tells the Delightful Children to surrender their cake before they resort to further violence, but they tell the KND to stay for "party games" as all the building's exits are suddenly sealed. They then reveal their secret weapon, a young girl named Laura Limpin, who is very excited to be at the party. Wallace pushes her aside, telling her that there will be no party games, which greatly upsets her and causes her to transform into "The Big Badolescent", who proceeds to viciously beat Wallace up.
The Kids Next Door are forced to play the party games, which involve them being subjected to various forms of harm and indignity, so as not to invoke Laura's wrath. Just as Laura is about to shoot Sector V while playing a dangerous version of "Pin the Tail on the Donkey", Nigel suggests to Laura that she opens the little red present box that's on the top of the present pile, which she eagerly goes to do. The Delightful Children ask her to wait to open presents until after the games are finished, which begins to anger her before they quickly concede to her wishes. The Delightful Children read the present's tag, which says "Kids Next Door, Battlestations". The KND then leap into action and take the cake from its pedestal before pressing a button which activates an enormous machine outside the mansion that cuts the building in two.
The half containing the KND and the cake begins to be pulled away by an army of mind-controlled hamsters. This (quite understandably) upsets Laura, who transforms into her monstrous alter-ego and pulls the other half of the house back towards her. Numbuh 1, who is holding the cake, loses his balance and accidentally throws it into the air. It lands on Laura, who then reverts to her normal self and begins eating it, allowing the KND to escape. However, upon tasting the cake and realizing that it is coconut-flavored, which she loathes, Laura transforms once again and begins beating up the Delightful Children.
Throughout the episode, Hoagie, who fails to break through the window during the initial entry, attempts to get into the house, to no avail.
The mission begins with the Delightful Children From Down the Lane celebrating their birthday with many depressed and unenthusiastic party guests reluctantly singing.
"Splendid. Now, while I eat our birthday cake, you may sing it... again!"
Yep. These children are Class 5 villains.
"Remember, Kuki dear. The harder you swing, the more candy you'll get."
"NO PEEKING!!!!!"
Funny because Numbuh 3 was peeking. 
"But I want to open presents....NOOOOOOW!!!!"
Oh, nobody wants to underestimate Laura's condition.
"Kids Next Door, Battle Stations!"
A giant knife to cut the mansion in half.
"Coconut?! I...HATE...COCONUT!!!"
"Not in the face!"
"Not in the face!"
And hearing the Delightful Children ask Numbuh 4 "No party games, Wallace?" Has me thinking. Is Wallace what Numbuh 4 was originally going to be called?
And you gotta love the Big Badolescent! She's a humorous teen, getting angry. This is why Laura is not to be angered.
For the first official episode, this was pretty cool. The introduction of 5 antagonists, and Numbuh 2 failing to get into the mansion. And the ending where Big Badolescent was about to beat up the Delightful Children for giving her coconut cake was humorous. And the way she yelled at Numbuh 3 "NO PEEKING!!!" was so funny!

Diseasy Does It/Chimp-n-Pox.

Kenny and his pet chimpanzee Chimpy are called by Professor Triple-Extra Large to watch over his laboratory, which contains samples of thousands of deadly diseases, while Professor XXXL goes to destroy the PTA. Despite Chimpy being extremely unintelligent, even by animal standards, he believes that he is Kenny's brother and trusts him to watch over his collection while he does not trust Kenny at all and tasks him with marking a checklist of the diseases while Chimpy handles them.
As soon as he leaves, Chimpy begins tampering with the diseases and exposes Kenny to "Swine Flu, which turns his head into a pig. He calls the "Horrible Disease Help Me Hotline", which proves entirely ineffective at helping him as Chimpy continues to destroy the lab. Kenny then sees a first aid box labeled "in case of Swine Flu", which contains a man cooking bacon who scares away the pig.
Later, as Kenny attempts to explain to Chimpy that he must not mess with the diseases, he accidentally breaks open a jar containing "SalmonEllafitzgerald". He calls the hotline again, and the operator tells him that his affliction can be cured by licking a chimp. Kenny begins chasing Chimpy in order to lick him as he continues to destroy the lab until Professor XXXL returns, having been defeated by the PTA and had his lobster claw torn off. Upon seeing the state of his lab, he is furious at Kenny and begins chasing him until a man carrying an ice cream cake appears (as Kenny accidentally called him while trying to cure the swine flu), who they all then proceed to chase after.
Man, talk about a hilarious episode! One that's supposed to be filler.
Fun fact: Kenny and the Chimp was going to be a full series, but for unknown reasons, it was scrapped. And Professor XXXL became a recurring character in Codename Kids Next Door, often shown with the villains.
Also, the Kids Next Door were going to be side characters in this series.
Man, talk about so many references in this episode! A tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, who was taken away from us in 1996. It would be funny if these were real diseases. Swine Flu turning your head into a pig, and Salmonella turning you into the late Ella Fitzgerald, etc.
Yep, it was still an entertaining episode, for something that wasn't even going to be part of Codename Kids Next Door. Makes me wonder what would've happened if Kenny and the Chimp did become an official series.

The episode starts with the KND Satelite intercepting a phone call between two kids complaining about adult swim not being over. The operatives of Sector V are then called by Numbuh 1 to the meeting room of the treehouse. Numbuh 1 explains that adults have extended their swimming hours at the local pool so that kids have no time at all, and that they are going to put a stop to this.
Upon arriving at the pool and realizing that they have no specific plan of action, the KND decide to simply jump into the pool. The lifeguards, Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb, see them and activate an electric fence which rises around the pool, shocking them.
They tell the children that it is currently adult swim, but they are welcome to play in the "kiddie pool", which turns out to be an extremely small inflatable pool. The rest of Sector V don't seem to mind this much, while Numbuh 1 refuses to put up with it and yells out, for the first time ever, "Kids Next Door, Battle Stations!"
The five members then spring into action, summoning the Kid-a-Pult, and launching Numbuh 2 over the fence, hitting the lifeguard chair and knocking Wink and Fibb into the pool.
The kids are then free to play in the pool, until Mr. Wink and Fibb arise in their lifeguard chair, which turns into a robotic, laser-firing walker. As the super chair looms over the Kids Next Door, Numbuh 1 suggests they go back to the Kid-a-Pult...
...Which is then immediately destroyed by the super chair. Numbuh 1 then notices that Numbuh 3 is missing, and the team tells him that she went to get snacks. Numbuh 3 then returns with snacks just as the chair is about to destroy them, giving snacks to everyone except Numbuh 1, including the villains, who leave their chair to eat ice cream.
Numbuh 1, infuriated, starts yelling at Numbuh 3 for giving treats to the bad guys when he notices that the super chair has been abandoned. He hijacks the chair and tries to get rid of Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb, but instead accidentally activates a drilling device that drills a hole in the pool and drains it. This angers everyone, and Numbuh 1 then nervously says, "So, who's going to the kiddie pool?"
"Hang on to your underwear!"
An awesome quote from Numbuh 2.
Well, this was a cool pilot episode. We got properly introduced to our main characters.
And no, Adult Swim is not a reference to the Cartoon Network block for adults. That block came out after this pilot aired.
And I can easily tell why the water in the kiddy pool was warm.
Overall, this was a cool way to start the entire franchise, and I can see why Codename Kids Next Door was chosen to become a full series.
My rating: 9/10.
Well, we got a cool start to a cool series. The first in many CAKED missions, an episode for a planned series, yet became filler for this full episode but didn't feel like filler, and a pilot with a pool involved. Overall, a great start.
